Following Candidate are eligible for KEAM 2013

1. Candidate of Kerala origin
2. Candidate of non Kerala origin are only eligible if the parents are:
   • Employees of the Government of India and Defence personnel, posted to Kerala during that period.
   • Employees, who are serving the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of two years

However they will not be eligible for any Communal/ Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation.

1. Candidate not falling in any of the above eligibility Criteria are only eligible for admission to Engineering courses in Management quota seats in Government Controlled Self financing Colleges and Government seats in Private Self financing Colleges, which will be notified separately.

Nationality- Candidate should have Indian nationality. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates also can apply for KEAM 2013. However they will not be eligible for any kind of reservation in KEAM 2013.

Age limit- Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2013 for eligible in KEAM 2013. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed and there is no upper age limit.

Eligibility Criteria for KEAM 2013 Medical and Agricultural courses:-

1. Candidate should have passed higher secondary exam from board of Kerala or any government recognized institutes.
2. For eligible in KEAM 2013 candidate must have 50% marks in Biology/ Biotechnology subject.
3. Aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are also required.
